While logging in to a Win2000 Active Directory (AD)
domain controller, our 100 Win98 clients started having
an issue this past Monday. Previously, the 100 Win98
clients were working without problems. Our other 1400
Win2000 clients are all working OK.
While logging in, the Win98 clients are displaying the
error "The domain password you supplied is not correct,
or access to your logon service has been denied".
Afterwards, the user logon account is locked out for
repeated unsuccessful logon attempts. I have seen this
first hand and even used my own known good working
username and password after creating a Win98 PC I created
for testing purposes myself.
Any ideas would be greatly appretiated!
