I'm trying to setup an DC in my office. We have 25 users. The server will
be placed behind our company firewall. The computer is all setup now to
dcpromo up and I'm a little hesitant to start cause I'm questioning a few
things that need to be correct. First off, I know that the name of the
computer will conflict with the FQDN once I dcpromo up. Also, how do I make
sure that when I type in the FQDN in the setup wizard that it does not
conflict with our registered web prescence on the internet?

you do not need to match the web FQDN and the AD domain name if your AD is completely internal. If your AD is internal, you can simply use whatever domain name you want such as ".local" at the end.
