This weekend I upgraded from a WinNT domain to a W2K
active directory. I loaded a server with NT 4.0 and made
it a BDC. The new server was promoted to PDC and the BDC
(former PDC) was deactivated. I upgraded the PDC to W2K
server and everything went smoothly. Today - the first
business day after the upgrade, all of the XP Pro clients
have degraded perfomance and no AD objects appear when
trying to assign permissions through the security tab on
folders, shared devices, etc. The W2K Pro clients see
these objects just fine. I'm thinking this is a setting,
but I'm not sure. Any assistance will be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
