AD - network path not found

Hidiho!

I have a very interessing (and annoying) problem:
When I start my PDC everything is allright. I can manage my AD, the ACLs
work fine, I can add new persons, groups and roules - no problem.
After 3-4 weeks things change a little bit. Everybody can log in and the
ACLs still work but I can't add persons, I can't add new ACLs, nothing. I
have to reboot the PDC to get everything work.
When I open the MMC for the AD I only get a message "network path not
found" (I'm not sure, if the translation ist 100% correct but I have a
german server and just translated it word-for-word). Restarting the DNS
doesn't change anything, restarting the workstation service doesn't change
anything only a reboot helps.
The PDC is a german win2k-advanced server with SP4.

Any hints?

Any errors in the event log?
How many domain controllers?
What zones do you have in AD under System\MicrosoftDNS?

Nope, no errors in the event log :(
How many domain controllers? Only one domain controller

Again only one (intern.foo.com) - the normal foo.com is handled by an
extern DNS-Server
