Situation:
AD with dyn DNS installed on it, the DNS has a forward
lookup ip address of ISP DNS.
Our website is hosted by a hosting company outside our
network.
AD Name=companyf.com
www Name=www.companyf.com
Problem
Client on internal network can resolve all internal and
external domain names. EXCEPT when in the webbrowser they
try and goto www.companyf.com
MY GUESS is that the DNS sees the request for companyf.com
and thinks it is itself and not going outside to our
external www server. I CAN get there by going to
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx by IP so it is DNS.
How do I tell DNS to route www.companyf.com to the
external web server?
Thanks,
Patrick
