AD Migration Windows 2000 to Windows 2003

I am using the objectGUID as key for each user in an external application
During the migration of the accounts from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 I recognized that all the GUID's where created new in the Windows 2003 AD. So my external Application was not able to retrieve the user information from the old GUID.
If I've used the Login Account Name no problem would be seen

Is there a posibility to migrate also the GUID's
 
Not that I know of

A better solution would be to have the app rely on the users SID. During a migration you can enable sid history which would cover the problem you are having.
