I was wondering if anyone could help?

The company I just is a strong Cisco company (where most of their revenue
lies). They've decided to beef up their Microsoft space with the intention
on targeting clients looking to migrate to AD. One of the deliverables we
have to come up with is finding out what the main questions to be answered
when preparing both:

RFQ (Request For Proposal)
SOW (Statement Of Work)

Does anyone know of any online resources to help us out? I hope this makes
sense

This is your starting point

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/ad/default.asp

From there you can find white papers on just about anything you want. The
deployment guides are also useful. You may want to research the ADMT tool.
One of the big things about going to AD will be what are the coming from
Novell, Linux, NT4 etc.... Migration is not always the correct terminology
as if the network is currently screwed up you don't want to migrate instead
it is AD implementation. One of the goals of any evaluation should be to
decide if the current implementation of the network fits the customers
current and long term goals and needs. If they do not then this is the best
time to change the structure of the network. The Microsoft official courses
on Designing a Secure Windows 2000 network and AD design are great resources
that will help you with what questions to ask prior to AD implementation.
Some of these question may actually steer you away from migration to
implementation.

Hope this is a good starting point for you

Rick
