AD is slow!!!!!

It's just downright draggy! When setting file permissions
it takes up to 5 minutes sometimes to resolve the
usernames. How can I fix this problem?!? It didn't used
to run this degraded...

This is not true. Chris, many Domains do not have AD integrated DNS.
