[AD] in IE browser

In my Internet Explorer 6.0 I have that symbol [AD]. If I click on it it
will display ads or picture. In my Task Manager I use to have a file that
had the word "ad" in it. For some reason that file is no longer there. Could
that be the cause of ads and pictures being hidden in IE.
 
Hi Serge,

This is probably from a pop-up stopper of some sort. As for the Task
Manager, it means that the program is not running.
