AD Delegation problem

I need to allow a group of users, not administrators, on a Windows 2000
application server the right to schedule jobs using task scheduler.
I went into AD Users and Computes (Win 2000 AD), located the server, and
went to properties-security. I then clicked advanced, I located the group
and clicked edit. By changing the "Apply onto" option there are hundreds of
different options, but I cant locate one that specifically says it will
allow them to schedule tasks.
I suspect I am looking in the right place, but I am not sue what all the
options all provide.

What must I do to allow the group to schedule and run tasks?

There might not be such rights available. The user will need to be a local
admin to create a schedule task.
The rights which can be assigned can be found in the following group policy
settings:
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local
Policies\User Rights Assignment

There is however, a way to schedule a task remotely. Again, the user need to
have admin rights to the machine:
