I have two Domain Controllers in my Domain.
One of the AD Databases on one of the DCs is 20 meg, the other database on
the other DC is 90 meg.
I ran an offline defrag but they are still about 70 meg diiferent in size.
Is this normal?
Shouldn't they both be about the same?
If they should be, what should I do to get them the same size?

Do you mean the NTDS.dit file ALONE, or the while
set of files in the directory with it?

Probably. But the really odd thing is (likely) why
your NTDS.dit file would be 70 meg (and you only
have 2 DCs <grin>)?

70 meg is about 14,000 users, or even a lot more if
you don't have many other objects in there.

If you had not performed an offline defrag (usually a waste
of time) then it would seem you had been adding and removing
large numbers of users as a test.

Did you include disposing (or removing to backup) the old files
as part of the offline defrag?
If they should be, what should I do to get them the same size?

Check replication and if that is good, don't worry about it
(much <grin>)

You really didn't tell us anything about your domain, number
of users, or how the NTDS.dit became so big.

The NTDS.DIT file.
It has always been this large.
We have about 450 users.
The larger one is my GC.
Is that where the size difference could be from?

How many domains are in your forest?
