Hi,
I've recently cleaned out our Active directory of all references to a couple
of old DCs using the following as a guide:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;216498
All seems to have gone well except a few minor issues where registry entries
are still pointing to old DCs. Can anyone confirm if the following values can
be deleted or left alone? (I've read somewhere that these may just be used at
the initial dcpromo?)
Under....CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters -
then:
Remote Connection DN name
Remote Machine DN Name
Src Config NC Srv
Src Root Domain Srv
