A simple answer required so my curiosity can go to rest.
why with uac on running adaware se do i have 25 running processes,1397
process modules and objects scanned 182854.
then with uac off i have 63 running processes,3148 process modules and
345485 objects scanned.
in the off mode it usually finds approx 40-60 tracking cookies!!

I would imagine it is because Adaware tries to query the process list and
can't get to stuff you don't have access to. As a low admin under UAC you
only have the right to query processes that you own. If you run task manager
you will notice something similar. To read the entire process list you need
to elevate and task manager gives you a button to do that.

If you turn UAC off, it also turns off Internet Explorer's Protected Mode. I
suspect that is why you get all those tracking cookies when UAC is off. That
is why you should keep it on!
