ad-aware with ref file 01r302.03.05.2004 will remove all of spyhunter files,
folders, registry listings.

there is no way for one to get tech. support for the free edition.

even microsoft has a way if problems occur with a windows update fix to get
help. lavasoft should have a link to provide help if the ref file update
causes problems.

I used the Settings feature to create a log file and to Quarantine before
deleting and I don't have it set to automatically 'delete' items.
This way it is a simple matter to 'restore' removed items (in the Quarantine
section, rt click on the item and select Reinstall or just highlite the item
and press the Restore button) or select the ones to be deleted.

No big loss. SpyHunter also known as "false positive central",
scam people into buying their program.

There are many useful forums on the internet. Here's one:

Maybe it should?:

Though in the case of Spyhunter it's not clear that it's alleged to be
spyware as much as it's alleged to be crap :)

I installed the latest System Mechanic last night - mostly a piece of crap
but it's good for finding duplicates - and it comes with an anti-spyware
tool called 'SpyHunter' which appears to be unrelated to the above. Anyway
Ad-aware doesn't pick up on it. Not that I'll be using it.
