Thanks Randy.
I just want to let you know that something weird happened when I updated the
program: it asked to d/l the new defs, I did it and it went back to SE1R125
06.10.2006.
So I updated it again and this time it went to the latest version.
I've never seen that before.
Cheers,
Steffo

Definitely odd for a definition file update to reverse-install.

false positive "errorsafe " in register found already posted in forum
ad-adware , no respons until now

norton , spybot , ewido , a-quared, defender found nothing , so i think
its a false one.

I`m glad you`ve said that Randy ... I`m getting some weird tags which do not
appear in WD or AVG.

Not a problem, though I sometimes feel like Lavasoft Support <wink>
They do try hard for a freeware program, must give them that.

I see what you mean and doing a good job at that I would say <smile>. Seems
like they`ve not been without their problems with false positives this last
year or so. I`m beginning to loose confidence.

The false-positives over the last several months have been an annoyance, I must
agree - months that is, not years. Though LS has had false-positives in the past,
none that I know of that haven't been caught quickly and fixed quickly as well.

Hang in there, Stu, Ad-aware is a great app to *keep* in your arsenal of A-S apps!

Hello again.

I've deleted the old defs file in the adaware folder and it didn't happen
again when I updated a few minutes ago with this new file:
SE1R129 26.10.2006 is now available, new definition file for Ad-Aware SE.

This fixes the false positive in Errorsafe

MD5 checksum is 12c759ff0a981f30822bce0e6e4a1e7e

I've notified Lavasoft's forum readers too.

Cheers,

Steffo

Thanks for reporting back - I think this is a week the folks at Lavasoft are going
to want to forget :-)
