Ad-Aware 2007 has updated

It looks like this was a major update.
Current version is 0007.0000.

Update manager is always on top and will not accept any input until the
update is complete. I would advise minimizing it, find something else to do
for about 15 minutes, come back and check status.

I finally deleted ad-aware 2007. Every time I would update it my computer
would freeze up so I got rid of it. Do you people have that problem?

Hey cyrus,

I think the answer is yes...and no.<g>

The new UI gives no indication when an update is in progress and it may take
some time. Patience is a virtue.

Hi Bob, Do you use Ad-Watch and if not did you uncheck anything from the

I don't use Ad-Watch as I'm running the free version, and I should ( I'm
guessing, but haven't yet) stopped those updates.

If i remember right there were three updates since i went with 2007 version
and the updates (update manger) all involved AD-Watch for which i don't use.
Just wondering why it would be offered to the free version ?

that is why i am waiting until i cannot update adaware se anymore then try
2007 then. Maybe by then they will finally get it right

i am wondering why it is actually installed in the free version. It should
not be installed at all, only in the pro
