I have installed two AD in two different locatiions. the
two sites are connected, i can browse the network from
each sites. Everything works ok except i couldn't be able
to replicate from one site to the other site.

I added the other domain on sites and services but when i
click on replicate now, i got the following error " the
naming cotext is in the process of being removed or is
not replicated from the specific server".

Any idea?

Is it one domain or two? If two domains, is it one forest or two?

Most likely problem is that you either have two Forests and no trust
or you have a DNS server setup problem.

If you just made the domain names the "same" then you problably still have
TWO DOMAINS and that will be an ongoing problem.

Replication is based on DNS as the locator service (name resolution and
DCs finding each other.)

You must have a set of DYNAMIC DNS servers which replicate properly
BEFORE you can reliably replicate AD. Each DC must be listed in ALL of
the DNS servers of the set (at both locations) to ensure proper functioning.

thanks you for the response. To answer to your question.
1. i have two domains and two forests
2. THe DNS on both domais works ok.
3.The domain names are not the same.
you are right the trust is not setup, when i try to setup
the trust i am getting error which says domain cannot be
contacted. However when i click on Run and type
\\domainame i can see all shared files on the domain
which located in different location.

Any idea?

Thank you again for the help.

If they are 2 forests and each forest is located only at each location.
What did you expect to be replicating between them ?
There is no data replicated between separate forests if the forests are
located at unique locations.
You will only see replication traffic between the site if the sites have
servers from domains that are in the same forest.

I believe you need WINS (or at least NetBIOS resolution) for
intra-forest trusts. We have discussed this here and that seems
to be the consensus.

You also need (or should have) DNS resolution between the two
forests.

WINS servers at each location, set to replicate, ALL machines at
each location set as clients of their respective WINS server (including
DCs and WINS servers themselves.)

Actually, what Mike says is true -- I got involved in your "same
forest" possibilities and then when you clarified two forests assumed
that you wanted the TRUST to work. (WINS helps with that.)

There is however NOTHING to replicate.
