I must have done something wrong with the settings in my
computer because Access 2003 is not functioning properly.
There are no wizards anymore. All my databases with a
wizard made switchboard form as the startup form don't
open. Also when I try to use the toolbox with the wizard
activated it doesn't work. I get a message which says
(among other things) to check the Control Wizards subkey
or the Libraries key in my database's section of the
Windows Registry to verify that they are listed and are
available. I am not familiar with Windows. How do I do
this? I am using Windows XP Professional. Any help will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks, George

Hi George,

Make sure first that you have the latest version of JET installed, see How
To: Obtain the Latest Service Pack for the Microsoft Jet 4.0 Database Engine
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;239114

If applying latest JET service pack does not work then attempt to
re-register the following files using "regsvr32.exe"
accwiz.dll
dao360.dll

The way you use "regsvr32.exe" is as follows:
- Click Start > Run and type
regsvr32 "full path of the file name"
- Click OK

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.

Again you hit right on the spot Eric. After I installed
the latest version of Jet everything worked just fine.
Keep on the good work, thanks a lot. George
