reha

we are using outlook 2003 with Exchange Server and created a contacts list
under the Public Folders. we would like to record activities for these
contacts.
when I right click on the shared (public) contacts, open properties and then
view activities; i need to choose the Outlook items by pressing "new" button.
but somehow i cannot choose "all items" as I do with my personal Mailbox.
since not defined, i cannot choose "all items" in the activities tab of a
specified contact.
is there a way to handle this?

thank you.

Public folders are limited to searching 1 folder at a time so there is no
need for all items.

Outlook 2007 I'm not able to access the "Activites" in my boss' Contacts. I
get the following message. Also, in reading the posts...I'm supposed to
right click on the Contacts folder, choose Properties...I don't find an
"Activities" tab there. Can you help?

"No folders are defined for Contact Activities in this contact folder.
Right-click the contact folder and then click Properties. On the Activities
tab, set the folders that should be searched for items associated with this
contact."
