Please. Please.
Can anyone please tell me how to switch of this anoying pop up box that has
just started to appear after downloading the windows updates. When I view a
web page that has a sound file in it this box pops up saying: "Click to run
ActiveX control on this web page" As I go to a lot of sites with sound in the
pages this is really annoying to say the least!

Hope someone can help me soon before I smash this computor to pieces!!!

You really need to visit those porn sites that rely on you downloading
their ActiveX control to play their sound file (and do whatever else
their ActiveX controls wants to do)? A site doesn't need to use ActiveX
to play sound files; see

Streaming audio/video is also used (but usually when the user must
select a file to listen/watch).
