Hi, I'm trying to install Halo 2 (brand new) on my Vista machine, when I press the Run Startup.exe in the Autoplay window, next a seperate window appears, it says:
"An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?" If I press either Yes or No, the following happens – a new window appears but it's blank, just has Halo 2 for Windows Vista in the title bar.
After a while as I sat there thinking "Oh no now what?", the following pops up:
"Files are missing or damaged in the installation directory. Some important files required to run this game are missing in the installation directory"
So I went and tried to install on my notebook and it works fine!!
WTF is wrong here? Please help? Thanks
Oh and the ActiveX warning appears every time a boot the PC up if that helps.
