Activex controls

hi there can you help me. for some reason when i go into certain web pages i
get blank boxes with no pictures in them. also i keep being told to install
activex control through the information bar but i dont have any information
bar taht comes down. can someone please help me its driving me crazy
 
Try search at microsoft,type:macromedia In the results page,select to
download
shockwave player then install flash player,they both will install an active
x.
Also,before excepting either,you might uncheck the box to install yahoo
search.
