Hi,
I have problem with each site that uses ActiveX control. Even though it
seems that EI does load then it doesn't give them permisssions.
Those controls (they are signed) just don't want to work.
I changed settings for all aplicable security zones in IE to allow do
download ActiveX controls.
I also have .NET 1.1 and 2.0 installed. I am not sure if this have any
effect on ActiveX control.
FireFox is not effected by this and all ActiveX controls work just fine.
Thank you,
Shimon

It is probably due to the Eolas update. See:

http://www.upsdell.com/BrowserNews/res_eolas.htm

For example in MSDN subscribers - all the downloads are via a ActiveX
Download Manager supposed to popup and start download.
So it doesn't start any download.

Other site has some kind of microscope using ActiveX - supposed to show some
images via ActiveX - I see frame for ActiveX no images.

Third site provides library - all the books are shown via ActiveX (to
secure time of viewing and printing ...) can't view contol - not text tones
of errors most of them access denied (it seems that they are using ActiveX in
javascript)
Thanks
