I have activex controls disabled in internet explorer version 6. Every time
I access a web site which contains an activex control IE pops up a dialog
explaining how I have activex controls disabled "blah blah blah".

Is there a way to TURN THIS MESSAGE OFF?

I have programming knowledge, so if anyone knows anyway please let me know
regardless of how complex.

LOL. This thread is interesting. I've got the same problem. It
seems the last six months or so that "...as a result the page may not
display correctly" no active-x message has been popping up more and
more often. I'm not sure if it's just some ads or if there's a funky
new html thingee webdesigners are using lately.

Point is though, unless that message can be stopped, THAT'S IT FOR
MICROSOFT.

I've downloaded and configured Firefox on my two computers and it
solves the NO ACTIVE X pop up. At first I was just using firefox for
one or two sites that were unreadable due to that problem, now
however, I've been becoming more and more frustrated when ever I'm
using IE which is getting to be less and less.

I'd just as soon use IE as I can lock it down just as well as Firefox,
but this STUPID active x pop up is the show stopper.

So, since you guys are the experts on IE6, What up with that ?

Well.. <drum roll....> and the answer is:

There is no answer for Microsoft IE.

Use FireFox or any other browser except IE to solve the problem.

THANK YOU BILLY.
