My XP system has lost the connection with my Axim via ActiveSync. When
connecting I hear one of the chimes, but not the second. Sometimes it will
show the Axim ID, but states "not connected". Also, when connected to the
internet I get a message "cannot find the server". Checking the network
connections shows "connected", but no data is transmitted. I need help in
determining a solution to this problem as I cannot communicate with my XP
which is an essential tool in my work as is the Axim.
 
Desktop:
1. On your desktop's ActiveSync, go to options and enable syncing with a
server.
2. In the server configuration, click Connection, enter the IP address of
the computer you are syncing with
3. If you have no domain and are just using a workgroup, just leave the
domain blank
4. Enter the username that you have on your computer, if you have no
password, you can leave that blank
