Active-X Controls

I can't seem to open any files I've downloaded or access
attached files in my e-mail. Is this the result of a
problem with the active-x controls?
 
Hi

For the attachments - with OE open go to Tools>Options>Security and uncheck
'Do not allow attachments to be saved...' If you do uncheck that option,
please virus-check *all* attachments before opening them.

What kind of files have you downloaded?

As for downloads, game updates mostly and game demos.
