I hope this is the right group to post this message:
Once in a while, the app I am working on seems to lose
the focus (the app remains visible). It seems like some
app/process on the background tried to do something and I
have to click on the app again to keep on using it. This
happens with Word, Excel, any games, other apps, etc.
Does anybody have a similar problem? My computer is a HP-
P4(just recently bought) with Win XP Home edition. Is
there anything I could do to try to identify what is the
source of this problem?

Thanks!

I tried that but I couldn't identify which one is doing
this (if this is really the source of the problem). I
would like to know if there is any known app that could
be doing this. At first I thought it would be WeatherBug
but after unistalling it the problem remains.

Thanks!

You may have uninstalled Weather Bug, but you can be sure that the spyware
that came with it is still on your computer.

Tom, thanks for your reply. I will try to investigate
that. Do you know more about this spyware (name, how can
I uninstall it, etc)?

Thank you very much!

To identify and remove spyware from your computer, use any one or more of
the popular spyware detection programs available on the Internet. Three
well-known examples (presented alphabetically) are Ad-Aware, Pest Patrol and
Spybot Search and Destroy. You will probably receive recommendations for
other such programs. Use whichever one appeals to you.

Find out what spyware you have. Use Spybot S&D and HijackThis, and
help from SWI Forums. Start here for all instructions:
