I don't know that much about active directory. I basically took over a network that someone else put together and I am now on my own. I don't have much Windows Server 2000 experience, and could use some advice. Currently we have two servers and would like to move to one. All the server that I want to get rid of has is Active directory. It is basically our login server and that is it. The second server is our file and print server. I would like the second server to perform all functions. What is the best way to do this without causing damage to our Network?

You might want to think about that a little more. Sometimes it is better to
have dedicated servers for specific tasks rather than having one server do
everything. What if that one server dies? Then you have nothing and much
more work to do to rebuild. How many users? Is your server doing anything
more than handling logins? DHCP? DNS? Wins??
