Active Directory Users & Computers console issue

Hi,
I have noticed that whenever I open Active Directory Users
& Computers console that it connects everytime to a domain
controller Test over the WAN and not the local Wise DC. Is
there a way to change this? The Wise DC is the Global
Cataloger and primary DC for the entire domain, but
alwzays goes to the the DC TEST. You can choose to connect
to the proper DC after the tool opens, but does not keep
this setting.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi John-

Dependant upon your site topology your console will connect with the closest
DC via your links. I.e. if your subnet is in Site A and you have a DC in
Site A you should always connect to that one 1st.
