I am running windows 2000 SBS. I have 20 users directly
on my server. I just created a user who I do not want set
up on my exchange server. She will be a remote user and
will use her ISP provider to get her email. She needs to
access files. The problem is now when I email her within
the network her emails are lost somewhere. The Exchange
server is looking to send internally and not send the
email off the network. As a contact the email worked
fine, now as a user I am having problems with this address.

When you create her account in AD, don't create a mailbox. After you have
setup her account, rightclick on it --> select Exchange Tasks and just email
enable her account. Enter her ISP's email account (SMTP) as her email. This
way, she will be listed in GAL and when you will send her email it will be
sent to her ISP.
