I am haveing to uninstall Active Directory from a computer
that was being utilized as a fax server also. The fax
server part is out of disc space and i need to blow this
machine away. I have one other DC in the domain that has
all master roles. What i want to know is, is there
anything bad i should know about when it comes to removing
AD on a box that was the second DC in the domain? I AM IN
DESPERATE NEED OF HELP!! Thanks.

Nope, there is nothing bad about it. It could even be the
first DC in the domain - I just did that on Saturday....
Just make sure thatthe DC that you are going to demote to
Member Server via the DCPROMO process does not have any of
the five FSMO roles. Also, if it is running DDNS you
might want to first make it a secondary zone. Do not
forget to change DHCP if necessary.

Nothing bad at all - just ensure that any services and roles currently
running on that computer are appropriately migrated to other servers, if
necessary.
