ACTIVE DIRECTORY INSTALLATION

Hello guys
i am new to windows 2000 ,so i want to know whther i can
configure Active Directory with the following
configurations :

Standalone machine having Network Adaptor,but NOT THE
NETWORK CONNECTION

OS:Windows 2000 advanced server

You need a network connection to install AD. You can use an empty hub for
this, or you can install MS loopback adapter driver on your system. This
will emulate network connection for you.

can u plz help me out ,from wher i will get the MS
loopback adapter driver,is it a part of windows 2000
or will have to search for it .

It is part of the operation system. You use Add Hardware in Control Panel
and select Network adapter --> Microsoft --> MS Loopback adapter.
