I set up a Domain & Forest called CONTOSO.COM with a child
domain called LAB1.CONTOSO.COM. I set up a totally
seperate Domain Forest called TESTKING.COM on the same
subnet. The DC's server name is SERVER1.TESTKING.COM for
TESTKING.COM. I am able to ping SEVER1.TESTKING.COM on
same machine SEVER1.TESTKING.COM, (maybe this is just
resolved from DNS Local Cache?). What I am trying to do is
get TESTKING.COM to register in the CONTOSO.COM DNS Name
Space but CONTOSO.COM does not recognize TESTKING.COM?
Should'nt CONTOSO.COM DNS Dynamically add TESTKING.COM
from the network? How do I go about setting TESTKING up to
utilize CONTOSO.COM DNS? Someone said this could be done.
Thanks!

In DNS server of contoso create new root zone called testking.com, enable
dynamic updates on it and point your DC's DNS settings in IP configuration
from testking.com to contoso.com DNS server. After you restart server or
netlogon service, it will populate DNS server in contoso.com with
appropriate records.
