Hi All,

I have a W2K Active directory domain; We do not use
Exchange; we use a Netscape mail server. Just wondering if
we could setup distrubtion groups in AD and use it for
email groups? When I tried it, I keep getting errors about
one or more entries not having an email address. All
entries have an email address.

Thanks,

joh

Haven;t tried that yet, but Dist Groups don't really do much unless you have
Exchange installed. Something like the Display name in a user account
property, which is basically for the return address Name on an outgoing
email. So not sure how you would use that with any other product, unless you
have some sort of LDAP synchornization between the two and associate that
attribute/object.
