Hello all,

I have a small problem which I hope that someone of you guys can help me in
solving.

The list of the users in my company is stored on the freeware directory
service, OpenLDAP, however I want to migrate it to Active Directory; before
having a complete migration, I have to pass a coexistence between the two
directories, since some application are using the OpenLDAP.

In order to have this coexistence, I need to synchronize the two directory
services, but the problem is that I have no idea how this can be done.

I am really looking for help, and I really need it.
thank you very much in advance for your help

Oscar

There are products that allow you to synchronize various directories. One is
MIIS (Microsoft Identity Information Server) 2003 (which doesn't support
openLDAP), the other is SimpleSync from http://www.cps-systems.com/ (this
one supports openLDAP)
.. They are not free. Another way is, if you know how to access openLDAP
programmatically, you can write a script to export data from one and
import/modify it in another.
