Active Directory and NT4

We are going to implement a Win2K AD but want to leave the old NT4 domain in place and untouched. Is this possible? Or will AD want to take control?

Yes it is possible, but to do so you will need to create a brand new domain
for AD and end up with 2 domains - the old NT domain and the new AD domain.
If you need to share resources between the two domains you will need to
creates trusts.
