Active Directory and moving from multiple building to a single building

We are currently running Active Directory 2003. We are at this time
building a new building to move all users from seperate buildings to
this single building. I'm wondering if anyone out there has done this
kind of move and if they have what kind of things should i be really
focusing on. Also, in the move we are moving to a new ip scheme. So,
all the servers all the workstations all printers will now have a new
ip address. The workstations will be contacting a new dhcp server.
The mail will be moved over with new ip's. Is there anything that i
should be aware of in that move? thanks for the help
 
Before I moved from Los Angeles, CA to Roanoke, VA the company for which I
worked did this ( a couple of times ).

The biggest problem that we had was that the servers were not moved properly
and there were a few hicups due to this. Just make sure that everything is
plugged in correctly!

The new IP scheme should not present a problem. Configure the changes on
the Domain Controllers first, make sure that everything is cool with DNS (
maybe a net stop netlogon followed by an ipconfig / flushdns followed by an
ipconfig /registerdns and finally a net start netlogon on each DC - make
sure to update the new Subnet in your Active Directory Sites and Services
MMC! ) and make sure that you update the DHCP Scope Options before any
workstations connect. Give all this 20 minutes and then go in and check
DNS. Make sure that all of the correct records are there and that there are
no references to the old IP scheme.

DHCP is DHCP. The clients do not care from what DHCP Server they receive
their IP lease. If the DHCP Server that gave them their IP lease is no
longer available then they will retry, using any DHCP Server that is
available.
