HI
I have a 2000 DC, but DNS Server is on other machine, and
is not working properly.
Is there anyway to install a fresh DNS Server on the DC
and make it be AD Integrated in order to have a correct
functioning of the AD ?

TIA
John

All you need to do is install DNS on the DC create the forward lookup zone
for you domain name make sure "Allow dynamic updates" is set to "Yes". Point
the DC to its own address for DNS, run ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig
/registerdns and restart the Netlogon service

Yes. Just install DNS on the DC. Create the forward lookup zone for you AD. Be sure to enable dynamic updates. Change the
TCP/IP settings of the DC to point to itself ONLY for DNS. Open a command prompt and type "ipconfig /flushdns", "ipconfig
/registerdns" and then restart the netlogon service.

Thank you,
