I'm setting up a new active directory forest with two
domains: company.local and location.company.local.
Obviously, company.local is the top level domain and
location.company.local is a child domain. There is not
currently and DNS services so i'm installing it along with
Active Directory. I want the child domain to be the
authority for its DNS records. However, whenever I setup
the child domain all the DNS records for it are put in the
parent domain DNS. How can I setup the child domain so
the DNS server on that same box will host the DNS records?
