Does anyone know the maximum active connections you can
make to an access database and what happens is this is
exceeded? I was under the impression it is 10 ...

Many thanks

I believe it is 255, but I doubt that anything but a "proof of concept"
application would ever be able to actually achieve that. The "real-world"
limit which is the point at which you would see performance and/or
corruption issues is highly variable depending on your app's design, what
the users are doing, the PC and network hardware, etc..

An amateurish, "I used the wizards for everything" type of app could easily
fall down with as few as 2 or 3 users hitting it, but when things are done
right and the hardware is good we see reports of many dozens of concurrent
users without incident.
