I had to format my hard drive and reinstall my xp Home upgrade again. It is asking me to activate wich i all ready did when I installed it the first time. What do i do ? ignore the activation request

Follow the re-activation steps, it will recognise your activation code once you re-do it.

When you formatted the drive. You essentially started over. The hard
drive has no record that the computer had been activated. So, You need
to activate again.
