Activation

I am extremely pissed with this OS. I just built my machine, bought a full version of XP Home at my NEX on base and installed it. That was one week ago. Today i add freakin memory and the damn OS says i have 3 days to activate the OS because of too many hardware changes. All I can say is WTF. I am in the Army, spent months away from my family defending companies like this and in return I get short changed for doing things the legal way. The components on my machine have not changed one bit.
 
There should be a phone number you can call to get a KEY to re activeate
your OS. It sound like you may of not registered the OS when you first
installed it. When that happens you only have so long till you have to
register it over the internet or the phone.

If you go to START HELP there maybe something in there about calling or
doing it over the net.

Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Activate Windows
You may need to choose the option to activate by phone

Did you activate?
You could have been done with activation in less time than it took to
post your message.
Quick and painless, don't make it seem worse than it is.
