Activation

I just bought a new computer and loaded my FP2002. It will not let me
activate because it was activated on my old computer, which is no longer
running FP2002. How do I activate now?

You might need to purchase another copy, since you can't run it on two
computers. As far as MS are concerned, you have it on two computers even
though you say you don't run it on the old PC. The activation process is
designed to prevent exactly what you're doing, even though you're obviously
doing it in a legit manner having bought a new PC etc and just loading the
s/ware to the new computer.

You may need to call them Microsoft, to activate on the phone, explain you
have new pc, trying to install FP2002 where it was previously installed on
another computer that you no longer use.

Might be time to upgrade to FP2003 (requires Windows 2000 or XP).
