i installed Vista in March, and my computer was working fine, but a month
ago, my hard drive crashed. i got a new one installed, and i reinstalled
Vista, and i can't activate it, because vista says that the activation key
was already in use, and i had 30 days to activate it. i guess i let the time
slip by, cause now i can only use the internet on my computer, it went into
some weird mode where i can't access anything. is there anything i can do
about this?

Hello,
try reactivating by phone. It won't take long and is very easy. You will be
redirected to a person which will help you with activating.

Greetings,

It's in use by you, because of your initial Activation. Simply follow
the on-screen instructions to activate by telephone.
