Activation key

I received a new laptop as a gift a few months ago and when I was looking
around it today it showed that microsoft office had been loaded on it. When
I tried to use it I was required to enter a product key code...I cannot find
this. What can I do?

Contact the mfg of the laptop and see what was suppose to come with the
