I have a legitimate, retail copy of Windows Vista Home Premium, and I need to
activate it after some hardware upgrades I just did. I would call the phone
number, but I am deaf. Does Microsoft have an option of the hearing
impaired? This is really frustrating.

This is from the Office material on the MS site, but hopefully it will
either work, or you can get from it a better number:

a.. Microsoft Text Telephone (TT/TTY) services are available for individuals
who are deaf or hard of hearing. In the United States, using a TT/TTY modem,
dial (800) 718-1599. From outside the United States, using a TT/TTY modem,
dial (716) 871-6859. TT/TTY service is only available in English.

The source for this is

Good luck!
