activate windows?

hi there,
i'm using windows XP for nearly 1 year.. now it came out a message says "The copy of windows must be activated with microsoft before you can log on. Do you want to activate windows?" .. when i clicked "YES" .. the problem still occured. what is the cause of this problem and how to fix it? could anyone help me with this? thans =)
 
Hi Faiz,

Did you make any hardware changes? If so, it's possible that you just need
to reactivate. Otherwise, try this:

Start/run regsvr32 regwizc.dll
Then start/run regsvr32 licdll.dll
