activate window inoperable

I just reinstalled XP on my home PC. When in it comes up I get a box
indicating that I must activate Windows now before I can log on. When I say
yes it goes it takes me to a blue "Activate Windows" box where nothing is
displayed and I have no options. Any ideas?

This newsgroup is for Internet Explorer 6. For a better, faster response,
