I SET MY DISPLAY TO ENGAGE AFTER 10 MINUTES, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. ANYONE HAVE
AN IDEA TO WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG. YOU CAN SEND YOUR REPLY TO
(e-mail address removed) [ IT IS FULLY VIRUS PROTECTED ]

I don't know why you expect the special service of someone responding
directly to you, why can't you just check back here on this newsgroup
periodically to see if anyone has any solutions for you to try. It is just
as important for all those that monitor newsgroups to see the responses that
are posted since they may help them also.
Also posting your true email address in a newsgroup is an invitation to
spammers to put you on their lists.
As a final thought this newsgroup is for instant messenger problems on
windows xp not for general operating system problems.
Concerning your problem the screen saver will not cut in till their have
been 10 minutes with absolutely no mouse movement so I suggest you reboot
your system leave the room and come back in 15 minutes and see if it worked.

Try the Group policy and see if it was disabled. You can access it by going
to the run prompt and type in MMC, you will see the group policy when you
select ADD, from there check and see what is listed on the Display option.
