I have been successfully using inserted objects (executables) in
PowerPoint slide shows for the last couple of years, however, for the
last couple of months I have not been able to activate the contents of
the inserted objects. Old presentations that contain Visual Basic
executables now do not activate the contents, as well as for new
PowerPoint files. Currently, for example, if I insert a basic
executable into a slide (e.g. notepad.exe), the contents simply do not
activate.
I am running PowerPoint 2002 (Office XP) with Microsoft XP, Service
Pack 3. Office XP has been uninstalled/re-installed several times. I
am not sure if the problem is related to options I may have
inadvertently changed, licensing, corruption, viruses (computer is
virus free) etc.
Thanks in advance
